  Great upscale fish camp! Only downside is the crowd (always busy -- be sure to use 'call ahead'). Been here several times now and the food is always good. Broiled and grilled healthier options are available and great salad bar. Most meals come with a side hush puppy and cinnamon bun!

  Good local joint with great hands on deck. Food was well prepared and the salad bar is very fresh. The wait is kind if gruesome at times but the quality of food will surpass the wait. That being said, for the price that you pay, the quantity does not add up. Perhaps the salad bar was to fill in the gap.

  The salad bar was great albeit kind of far from where we were sat upstairs. I had the blackened catfish fillets and they were absolutely wonderful!
  
  It was race night and we got there right after the race and had no wait. If we would have waited 20 more minutes it would have been a wait of over an hour! The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very nice, I will be returning!

  I also used Aunt Catfish for my wedding catering as part of the package at the Estate on the Halifax. They were AMAZING. The majority of the weddings that I've attended in the past, the food always seemed to be just okay, if not outright bad so I was a little bit nervous when we went for our taste testing at Aunt Catfish's. Wow! We were sat in the upstairs dining room for privacy and the food was not only amazing, but they gave us such big portions that I had to take some home! During the wedding, Aunt Catfish's took care of everything with the food, to cutting the cake, etc. Every single one of my guests complimented us on the food saying it was the best wedding food they've ever had. Thank you Aunt Catfish for being a part of our magical day!
